Wastewater
The range of systems and processes that have been designed and built to treat wastewater are vast. Some of the ones we have worked with and on include Sewer Networks, Screenings, Odour Control, Grit Removal, Primary Treatment, Aerobic Bacteria (suspended, fixed film, carbonaceous, nitrifying, de-nitrifying), Anaerobic Bacteria, Sludge Digestion, Methanogenic Bacteria, Sludge Thickening (Drying Beds, Dissolved Air Flotation, Centrifuge, Screw Thickener, Plate Press), Chemical and Biological Phoshorus Removal.

Industrial Process Waters
From washing salad leaves to washing chicken carcasses in the abbatoir, nearly every agricultural product needs clean water and afterwards it needs the used water to be cleaned again before discharge. An even larger range of water requirements are necessary for the thousands of other industrial processes, mining, metalurgy, minerals and more need water pre-treatment and wastewater post-treatment.
The systems used range from simple pH correction and disinfection to complex advanced chemical oxidation processes designed to treat pollutants that cannot be treated biologically.
Alongside treating clean and waste water, there are also a range of internal process waters within industrial processes that need specialist treatment, for boilers, steam and hot water, cooling towers, cooling and ice water, carrier waters and co-product water.
